Privacy Policy

Summary

Safe Unfollow Tracker is a free iOS app published by Ursinae Labs. The app makes no network calls, has no server and includes no third-party SDKs, so there is no analytics, advertising or third-party crash reporting. Nothing you import is sent to us or to anyone else.

The app’s App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.

How data gets into the app

You request your own data export from Instagram and import it into the app yourself. The app never asks for your Instagram password, never logs in to Instagram and has no access to the Instagram API.

Whether you import a ZIP file, an unzipped folder or loose JSON files, the app reads the export on your device, extracts the usernames and does not keep a copy of the original files.

What is stored on your device

The following is stored only on your device:

• The follower and following usernames from each import, kept as snapshots so the app can show changes over time.
• The account name and export date of each import.
• A small local setting that remembers which profiles you have already opened.

If you use “Try Demo”, the app stores sample snapshots on your device the same way a real import does, and Delete all data removes them.

None of this leaves your device.

Opening profiles

When you tap a username, the app opens that profile in the Instagram app or on the web. This is the only time anything leaves the app, and it happens only when you tap. Once the profile is open, Instagram’s own privacy policy applies.

Deleting your data

To delete everything, open the History tab, tap the trash button and choose Delete all data. This removes all data the app has stored for your imports, including which profiles you have opened in the app. Deleting the app also removes all of its data from your device. Because nothing is stored anywhere else, there is no other copy to delete.
